This device was bought after my fiancé and I had our car broken into. It was really easy to set up and we didn’t have to worry about any complicated way to connect it to the car, it literally just plugs into the OBD-II port. The geofencing is extremely nice and it sends a text every time the car enters/leaves a zone. The app also keeps track of the car’s health, driving concerns on a trip (sharp turn, idling x minutes, etc) and maintenance requirements, which were really nice additions as the main concern for us was the gps tracker. It requires a yearly renewal fee ($80) instead of a monthly subscription, which feels completely worth it for the piece of mind it brings.

99 percent of the time it alerts well. The push notifications work well. I wish it kept better maintainence records on when you actually performed them versus the recommended schedule based on the vin of the vehicle. Even a simple milage reached alert like every 4000 miles so I know when to change the oil in my wife's car rather than rely on her to tell me. Otherwise as a tracker and location and route finder it shines.

This is a great tool. Solves two problems at once....keeping track of your kids car and also giving you a lot of information about the car that you seldom drive yourself - all at your fingertips in the Vyncs app.
